D-ONE Plus

The Plus Pod is the dedicated interchangeable module for the D-ONE helmet that transforms it into a top-tier system for diving in contaminated or polluted waters.

Equipment – DRASS GROUP

  • Highest-Level Contaminated Water Protection — Certified to EN 15333-1 and fully compliant with NAVSEA guidelines for CAT-1 grossly contaminated environments (the most severe category). Provides airtight, water-sealed isolation, preventing any exposure to biological, chemical, or petroleum contaminants when paired with a compatible drysuit and water shroud.
  • Patented Gas Reclaim Valve with Titanium Flow Disc — Innovative, lightweight titanium design ensures low breathing resistance and optimal gas recovery at any depth. Precision-engineered vents deliver smooth, consistent performance while isolating the reclaim valve to prevent contact with polluted water— a key advantage in dirty environments.
  • Flexible Operating Modes — Allows seamless switching between surface-vent (for gas reclaim efficiency) and open-circuit modes without changing equipment. This versatility supports varied job requirements in contaminated sites, from inspection to construction.
  • Full Sealed Integration — Designed for sealed connection to drysuits and surface-supplied vented systems, creating a complete barrier against external contaminants. Combined with the optional water shroud, it effectively encapsulates the diver for maximum safety in hazardous waters.
  • Extreme Durability and Decontamination Readiness — Constructed from stainless steel 316L, resistant to chemical agents and capable of withstanding high-temperature sterilization and common decontamination processes—ideal for post-dive cleanup in biohazard or chemical scenarios.
  • Advantages Over Traditional Helmets  — Unlike competitors models that often rely on add-ons (like quad-valve exhausts or rubber hoods) for contaminated diving, the Plus Pod offers native, integrated isolation of the reclaim valve and superior modularity. No need for extensive modifications; swap pods and go. Divers report better overall sealing and reduced risk compared to retrofitted legacy designs.
  • Cost-Effective Modularity — One helmet shell handles clean and contaminated ops—just swap to the Plus Pod. Reduces fleet inventory needs while delivering specialized performance without buying separate helmets.

These features make the Plus Pod a game-changer for operations in sewers, industrial sites, dams, or any grossly polluted water, prioritizing diver health and operational efficiency.
